We have learned that Rob Steigle has come to the city’s Development Review Committee with plans for 4th Street Estates, 4 separate homes to be parceled on the 4 Acres that face 4th Street. This is what the code permits in RS1-EP, and we couldn’t be happier. We do not have any information about the other 7 acres behind that, but this is progress! We are not letting our guard down. An update and workshop on the 2016 Bond will be held on March 30 at 5PM. A public hearing of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report will be held before the City Council meeting on March 30 at 6:10PM. This report consists of management’s representations concerning the financial operation and condition of the City.

Debbie Geller, Plantation Police Department's Victim Advocate and Juvenile Counselor, will present on the police department’s Lost on Foot program during our March 15 meeting. The Lost on Foot program facilitates the return of individuals who are at risk of wandering due to an irreversible deterioration of intellectual faculties such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, Down syndrome, or Autism.
