Crime Prevention Officer Rivera Will Attend March Meeting
Come meet Officer Luis Rivera, our Crime Prevention Officer at March's meeting. He will discuss crime trends in the Acres and try to address any concerns.

Grants Will Be Applied For To Repair The “Y” Bridge At Volunteer Park And Equestrian Center
The Plantation City Council and Plantation Acres residents expressed support for an application for a Florida Department of Environmental Protection Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant to help repair the bridges at the Equestrian Center/Volunteer Park. Estimated cost for the “Y” Bridge repairs is $700,000. The request for the grant would cover half. The city heard from the residents how important it is to repair both bridges that have been closed for safety reasons and is committed to doing so.

Progress continues on North Acres Park
The North Acres Park Project, a $3,451,150.00 passive trail north of Sunrise Boulevard and west of Northwest 118th Avenue continues. Expected completion is late spring. Thank you council and Samira Shalan, Engineering Director! For more information and renderings, click on the title above.
